Valentines Robots

I was in charge of rewarding the kids who met a reading goal in my daughters school class last year and these were one of the treats I made for them! The kids loved them!!

I used a total of 5 starburst... 2 for the ears and 3 for the feet
( the third was mostly for stability)

I used a Nerd box for the head and glued on googely eyes

I used pipe cleaners to make the arms and a heart shaped chocolate for the heart

Drops of Awesome

I was asked to make this for church and I really liked the idea of it! They wanted a place where people could write little notes about something nice that someone did for them.

I thought that since the whole idea of this was to lift people's spirits that I wanted it to be bright!
I  spray painted a paint can and then I used mod podge to adhere and seal the letters to the can. Then I added ribbons and flowers to give the can more dimension!

Then I printed "Drops of Awesome"  4 times on an 8 1/2 x 11 cut it into 4th's and then clipped them together to hold them. I then put mod podge on the top side and let dry and Voila!! a tear away note pad!!!

I had a lot of fun making this project!!!

My Easter Wreath

Ok so this wreath was the very 1st wreath I made!! It was HUGE!!!! I didn't quite get it when my friend Amy was trying to explain to me that it was going to be bigger then I thought. I of course bought the biggest frame I could and I remember telling her "dude, but my door is huge I need to do a bigger one so the it doesn't look like a tiny speck on my door!' Well anyway yea she was right and we have had many a good laughs about it now!!! Somewhere in the midst of all of that is a cute top hat with bunny ears!!! It was a fun style to learn but I have definitely learned a lesson!!!!

Teachers Gifts

The kids and I wanted to make their teachers a gift during Teacher Appreciation Week so we headed of to Hobby Lobby and Sam's Club to pick up a different assortment of goodies and containers! This dude was a big helper!! He didn't try to eat the candy he just kept wanting to stick his hand in the bowl and and play with the candy! He liked the sound it made and the way it felt!!

A bucket for each teacher

The kids and I had a fun time making these together and the teachers really enjoyed them!!

Grama's Blessings Photo Holder

I know it has been FOREVER since I posted!!!! I have still been making projects just not as many because it takes me a LOT longer with my little helper around the house!! It is definitely a big change having a baby back in the house but I wouldn't change it for the world!!! He is happily playing with blocks right now and I am waiting for a load of laundry to finish (I'm trying to stay on top of my chores before I craft) so I thought with my spare moment I would share a project that I did earlier this year!! Hope you enjoy!!

I made this photo holder for my Grandma back in May! She came to visit around Mothers Day and my grandfather had just passed in April so I wanted to do something special for her. She has always loved the photos that I sent and when we were up at her home for my grandfathers funeral I noticed she didn't really have a place to display any pictures that we sent. So I bought this kit from poppyseedprojects.com and painted it in her favorite color!! She Loved it and asked for me to put Grama's Blessings on it! I got the cute embellishments from Hobby Lobby. I had so much fun and thought that it was so cute that I made on for my MIL ( I forgot to take a picture) and  I am also going to make one for myself and for my mom! So when I get those done I will post a picture!!

I used my Cricut to cut out Gramas Blessings
