Whooooooo loves you? card

I wanted to make a card to send my daughters school pictures to our family with. I was looking thru my cartridges and saw this owl that I thought was cute so I decided to use it. I didn't really have a plan when making this card I just was creating as I went.

This is what I ended up with!
I had some little helping hands and we got this one turned upside down but we made it work.

I didn't decide which stamp I wanted to use until I was done putting them all together. Robyn has so many stamps that would have worked great but I ended up using this one! It is from Robyn's Punnylicious stamp set.

This is the finished product!

This is the Stamp set I used!

And I cut the Owl from Cindy Loo at 3 inches.

Episode 17- Decorative Letters

My Sister in Law is a big Dallas Cowboys fan and wanted to decorate her new baby boy's room in this theme. She had seen a cute idea of decorating the letters in a name with the Dallas Cowboys colors and then hanging the letters with ribbon from stars. She was so sad when she saw how much it would be to buy the letters and stars. I told her that she could make them. She told me "yeah maybe if you are a crafty one, like you." So I told her what supplies to buy and to bring them up to our Labor Day family retreat at my grandparents cabin and I would help her. We had fun doing the letters and I have created a monster in her. Just last Sunday she texted me a picture of letters she had done for her daughter, telling me she had so much fun she did some for her daughter and that now she wanted to do letters for all the "littles" ( when we  talk about all of the kids we refer to them as littles, I think that my sister started it and it has just stuck!)
I thought that I would share how we did them. She hasn't hung them yet but when she does she promised she would send a picture. As I said before we were up at a cabin and as we were starting this project my mom said I should take pictures to put on my website. So I did! Thanks mom for reminding me!! There were a lot of pictures so I decided to put them into a video and talk you through how we did them.  I hope you enjoy!

My Pinks Stamper Pink-alicious Blog Hop- September 2011

Welcome Everyone! You should be hopping from Andrea!

If you came here first head to Robyn's blog and start all of the fun!

This month we all made a School Themed project and used Robyn's "School Days Stamp Set"!
For my project I made a pencil holder!
I used 5- 4x4 squares of chipboard and covered them with a cute school themed paper.  I punched 4 of the squares on 3 sides and 1 square on all four sides with my Bind-it-all.  Instead of o-wires I used ribbon to stitch my pieces together.
On 2 sides I used George and Basic shapes to cut out hearts at 2.5 inches and used the " I heart School" stamp.
For the other sides I cut out a pencil from my Locker Talk cartridge at 3 inches and used the "Wise Guy" stamp.

I hope you enjoy! Make sure to hop to Maria when you are done!

Now hop on over to Maria to continue the fun!!!

Just is case you got out of order here is the list of blogs!
