I got my braces off today!!!! I have had them on since October of 2009!
I am so excited! My pictures aren't that great but I wanted to make sure I had a before and after picture!
Tomorrow I go and see the Dr. about my finger.... hopefully good news!

I had braces on as an adult too - for 3 years. And I had orthonathic surgery to align my jaws, so I know what it's like to wait soooo long for that beautiful smile. You look great! Congrats!

I still remember getting my braces off when I was 17...my teeth felt so SLIPPERY!!! I thought I was going to sprain my tongue when it slid on them!!! Hahahaha!

I bet it feels good to have them off... I had braces for 3 years in high school... glasses and braces! OH MY!! my lips slid so smoothly over my teeth when I got them off... it was the strangest feeling, did you have to get a retainer? after a few months I stop wearing mine and not teeth stated to shift not too bad but I notice it... and you dont look like a high school student any more! YAY!!

Hey that's great! I'm 5months into my orthodontic treatment (braces). I was told 2 years for my treatment and I have the "old school" kind of braces...metal. 31yr old woman with braces...there's been some laughs; from me! :) LOL! Congrats on your beautiful new smile! :)
