I stayed up way too late last night watching the Cricut E2 Launch on HSN, but I am so excited for this machine! Can't wait to get mine!!!
I saw this truck image on the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge and I had wanted to make a birthday card for my brother with it but I ran out of time. I still wanted to make a card with it so I didn't put a saying on it and I will save it for maybe when my little nephew is born!
I made it look like my brother's truck and my little boy came in and said "look its uncle Kristian's truck"!
I didn't have metallic paper so that I could do the "chrome" so I used some smooch to do my "chrome" areas!!!

Wasnt the broadcast great! Ginger did a fantastic job! Loved it when she said "Crap" then backtracked LOL To funny...Your card is super cool. Im sure your brother will love it.

FYI-when you need metal paper and don't have it, just run some cardstock through a xyron machine to add adhesive and then stick aluminum foil on top of the cardstock, then use as needed or run through your cuttlebug.

YEP!! Definitely an exhausting few days! BUT SO FUN!!! I gave in & got an E2! As I commented on Robyn's blog, I have to try to disguise it when it gets here! Thought of a "dust throw", but maybe a pair of "nose glasses w/a mustache" will work! hahaha...nope, I think that will draw more attention! In any case...I can't wait 'till it gets here!

Thought you could still send this card to your brother, since your son said it does look like his truck & you can write something like, "Rolling By To Say Hi!" or even just "Thinking Of You". It's always great to get mail other than bills!
