A card from Boys Will Be Boys

I stayed up way too late last night watching the Cricut E2 Launch on HSN, but I am so excited for this machine! Can't wait to get mine!!!
I saw this truck image on the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge and I had wanted to make a birthday card for my brother with it but I ran out of time.  I still wanted to make a card with it so I didn't put a saying on it and I will save it for maybe when my little nephew is born!
I made it look like my brother's truck and my little boy came in and said "look its uncle Kristian's truck"!
I didn't have metallic paper so that I could do the "chrome" so I used some smooch to do my "chrome" areas!!!

A little birdie told me....

I have been so crazy busy that even my BFF had to call and introduce herself to me! LOL!!!!It was so funny when she did that, but I wanted to quickly share this project that I got made in the midst of my crazyness!
Also I wanted to make sure that you check out Robyn's website!! She has some great things going on that you are not going to want to miss!!

For this I used my Simply Charmed cart to cut my image at 3 1/2 inches and I used Robyn's Tweetie Hoo Puns stamp set!! I hope that you all have a wonderful Easter weekend!

A Minnie Mouse Birthday Card

Today is my little nieces 4th birthday!!
I used my Mickey Font cartridge to cut Minnie at 3 1/4 inches.
The stamp saying is from Fabulous Phrases by My Pink Stamper
I am glad to be back home after my whirlwind trip to Utah with my two kiddos. I was glad to be able to go and see family, friends and do some shopping but it was a hectic couple of days!
Now off to the never ending laundry!!
I hope you all have a great day!!

A Mickey Themed Birthday!

My cute little niece wants a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Birthday and so her mom called me and asked if I could help her with some ideas!
I think that it will be a fun, and that the kids are going to have a blast!!!
I offered to cut out a bunch of Mickey Mouse heads in a bunch of different colors that they can use for decorations and some of the activities.

I also thought that it would be fun to make some Mickey Mouse heads in her favorite colors that spelled out her name.

It has been fun making these and my daughter has been helping me. Now we are off to make some birthday cards and a graduation card!!

I hope to get some more time in my craft room today, but until I do I thought that I would share one of the projects from the cruise. These pages were from Joy's class. My Pink Stamper Pink-alicious Blog Hop- April

Welcome to Robyn aka My Pink Stamper's Pinkalicious blog hop! You should be hopping over from CarrieAnne's site.

Our theme this month was Birthdays! My mom's birthday happens to be today so I made this for her. Happy Birthday Mom!!!
It is the 3-D book from Campin' Critters cartridge! I cut the book at 7 3/4 inches.
I used Robyn's Everyday Sentiments stamp set for my saying on the front of my book.

Here is what I used!

You can find out where Robyn's stamps are sold here!

I just picked up Campin' Critters and I was so excited when I saw the book cut! I knew right then what I was going to make.

My patterned paper was from Die Cuts With a View Cotton Bloom Stack.

I used this to D-stress the edges of my label on the from of my book. It is the D-stress creative paper edger by Imaginisce.

Hope you all enjoyed! Now hop on over to

Make sure to check it out! It starts at 8pm CST on Robyn's website!!

Scrapbook pages

Okay so I am only 6 years behind!
I think I only have 100 pages done in my daughters scrapbook and they are all from random times over the last 6 years. I have made it a personal goal to try to get caught up with both of my kids scrapbooks. (I am 3 year behind on my son's.) To do this I am going to keep my pages super simple!

For these pages I used Cricut Classic Font to cut out my letters.
I took the pictures of the first time my parents held my daughter and for my journaling I am telling a little bit about them (ie. full name and birthdate) and then a little special note about that day.

I have lots of pictures of our family holding her and so I think that it will be really fun to do a page like this for each of them and that way my daughter will know a little bit about everyone who was there and fun little something about that day with them. Their special moment!!
