I can't take credit for this cute project but I wanted to share it with all of you!
I work with the youth in my church on Wednesday nights and we each made one of these last night!
We had a lot of fun and it was really easy!
We took basic frames from the store and had metal sheets cut to fit inside. Took the glass out of the frame and put the metal sheet in its place. We used fabric and gems to make the flowers on the frame. To make the magnets we used clear "rocks", painted the back with mod podge then placed the paper on the back, then we glued round magnets to the paper and let dry!!
The names were cut out with vinyl on a cricut. I am not sure which font she used!
Hope that brings you joy and inspiration!!

Karlee, I made some Calenders using the clear rocks but used glossy accents. You can check them out on my blog. http://scrappinbutterfly13.blogspot.com/2011/01/awesome-magnetic-calendars.html

Karlee - thanks for sharing! My YW is excited to make one of these now - she loves to have things like this in her room so she can share her faith with her friends when they ask about her decorations. Thank you again!

I was lucky enough to be in YWs when these new concepts, faith, divine nature, etc. were introduced and I absolutely loved it just like I do now (I think I just dated myself, oops). :) I love this project. I just wished I would of had a girl to go through YWs too. Great job Karlee!

Love the project!! QQ--where are you getting your metal cut(and what kind of metal are you using)? We have tried Home depot and Lowe's and they won'd cut metal to size. Help please!
