Robyn donated this stamp set for me to giveaway and I thought that this would be the perfect time for it. I love this time of year and I feel like I am ahead of the game a little bit because all of my Christmas shopping is done!!! I just need to ship a few things! Now I feel like I have more time to do all of the things that I want to do every year but don't because I don't have time! My favorite thing during this time of year... hmmmmm.... I think the obvious thing is the celebration of The Christ Childs birth. The plays put on at a lot of churches about His birth. I love watching the little ones put on their robes and sandles etc, and perform to the best of their abilities. I think the mistakes in the play, and the jouful songs sung by those little voices, make it all that much more precious.
My favorite thing during the holidays is actually the hustle and bustle in the stores! I know that is weird but I love it because most of the people are really friendly and happy!
My fqavorite thing about this time of year, is just curling up with a blanket, staying all cozy warm, and watching Christmas shows, and being surrounded by holiday decor! Perfection!

Spending time with my family. My husband is in TN this year working and unable to come home for the holidays; it's going to be hard.
So this year I want to get cards made and sent out by the 17th.
My favorite thing is spending time with family in a different festive sort of way. Everyone seems a little kinder and more caring if possible and you see family that often times you don't see any other time of year. As I've gotten older I have realized that Christmas is for the kids!! It takes us adults, hours upon days to prepare and it's basically all over within a few hours! My favourite part about Christmas is sitting and watching the explosion when the kids wake up and discover that Santa has indeed come! Hi Karlee! I am all finished Christmas shopping too; all I have left is a few boxes to ship. It's weird feeling because I've never been this ahead of the game. I have been able to decorate and focus on the family plans because of it though. My favorite thing about this time of the year is the cozy feeling that is in the air-like electricity-and you can't feel it at any other time. People are (usually) very joyous, merry and giving; there's just a great buzz in the air. Merry Christmas! P.S. I love the closeness that I feel as a family. It seems that we are always gathering somewhere as a family, be it our immediate family, our family of friends or our church family. Last night we had a nice simple dinner of soup and bread while we watched Polar Express for the millionth time while a light snow fell outside. How much warmer and cozy can you get then that! That is what I love!

One of my favorite things we do is get together the teens at our church and make holiday baskets for the widows and shutins at church. After the teens take the baskets around they all come back to my house were I have made breakfest for dinner. My favorite thing to do is decorate the tree with my girls..Every since they were little they always helped me decorate the tree. We put on Christmas music and drink hot chocolate and bake cookies.

Xmas is my favorite time of the year because i love the colors ,the lights,trees,all that stands for Xmas and most of all Family just being there for them and seeing them open there presents.
I teach kindergarten and I still get choked up every year when the kindergarten classes have their holiday concert. They are so stinkin cute!
There are so many things about this time of year to love. I get so excited when the first snow falls. All of the rutty roads and brown grass is all covered with a beautiful pure white blanket that makes everyting look awesome. I love playing in the snow but don't like driving in the snow.

Christmas is my favorite time of year so its hard to say what is my favorite thing. I guess it would be my whole family getting together and watching the grandkids faces when Santa comes thru the door. We have a friend with a white beard and who looks like Santa that comes to "visit" the kids on Xmas Eve. They think they have a special relationship with the "real" Santa so when we see him anywhere else they can't believe people think he's Santa!! I love it!

1) The fact that Jesus Christ was willing to come to earth in human form to save mankind from sin.
2)My family and the love that we share. It's an all year love, but it's really special at Christmas.
3) Our White Elephant Party is an absolute blast. We prepare big pots of soup and my daughter in love reads Night Before Christmas as we do the White Elephant exchange. FUN!
I love the way it reminds us to be generous toward others. I don't mean the gift giving part, but the sharing the holiday with our neighbors and friends through doing something for them or just saying "Merry Christmas" to everyone. I wish people would be kinder to one another all year long.

My favorite thing about this time of year is watching all the holiday events through my children's eyes. They are 5, 4 and 3 and their excitement over Santa and the new hiding place for our Elf on the Shelf each morning gives me the biggest smile. They love helping me with the holiday baking, our Christmas cards and are getting excited to build our gingerbread houses this week.

My fav thing is to have my kid's pics taken on Santa. My kid's are now 17 and 16...they still indulge me as I tell them it's all I want for Christmas. Every year I scrapbook the pic and add it to the 8x8" scrapbook. It's great to see them growing up again as I flip the pages.

Oh I have sooo many FAV things this time of year. The feeling of what the Holiday Season. How people become more cheerful and generous with all their nice gestures and gift giving. I love it! Most of all, I love that my Husband gets to spend time with us when he is not deployed overseas.

my favorite thing about Christmas is the look on the kids faces when they see the lights go on for the first time on the tree and other home trimmings. Then we ride around town at night admiring everyone elses decorations. :D

My favorite thing is listening to my kids plan out their holiday gift giving! Wish they had money to buy the presents, though!
I love all of the decorations and lights. My kids and I like to drive around and see all of the houses lit up and all the pretty decorations people have up. It jsut puts a smile on all of our faces.
My favorite thing is definitely spending time with family, and the traditions that we share together. It's the one time of year that I always get to see everyone!
