My Weekend

I hope everyone is having a great Monday. I have a serious sinus headache so I am not really feeling like playing in my craft room. I know it is shocking!! I thought I would show you what I was up to this weekend though!

My Husband was out of town for four days and I have a hard time sleeping while he is gone, so I stayed up and worked on a bunch of  things. I thought I would share one with you.
These are file folder games. My kids love them! I have some that are just educational and some that are religious and some that combine religion and education. I haven't made any in a while so I decided that I would this weekend and got about 15 made. My daughter likes helping me put the pieces thru the laminator. She was a big help!
This weekend we also went to an "auction" to help the youth raise some money for camps that they are going to go in the summer. It was fun! My daughter saw this cute "Mommy and Me Baking Kit". So when this one came up for auction I let her use the paddle and try to win it. She had so much fun and I was laughing so hard. She just wanted to hold the paddle up and I kept telling her she had to put it down and then back up. She ended up winning. Someone asked me how much we ended up getting it for and I didn't know. Whatever it was would have been worth the laughs it brought me and the joy it brought her as well as that it was for a good cause, but in the end it only was 13 dollars!
She can't wait to put on the matching aprons and make all of the goodies that are in the jar!

Priceless!
Hope you're feeling better soon.
I had sinus surgery two weeks ago and thought I'd spend time recovering in my craft room. But like you, I want nothing to do with it right now...my nose hurts.
