On Sunday while I was in Utah we were able to have dinner with most of my family. After dinner we had a special dessert for the kids. Twinkies!! As we were passing the Twinkies out to all the kids my son kept saying "I wanna hot dog too, where's my hot dog mommy" It was so cute that he thought the twinkies were hot dogs!

That's sooo cute! When he grows up, it's surprising how many of these cute things you'll remember. My daughter was 3 (she's 17 now)and watching tv and the pilsbury dough boy was on. She squealed and yelled, "I want to eat that guy!!" It was sooo cute. We still bring it up.
Well I could see how he could confuse them. What a cutie! Enjoy as they grow up much too quickly.
Karlee, your son is so handsome. Watch out for the girls when the time comes :)
One thing I always going to remember from those years is when my son used to say :
"I am looking at you with the white of my eyes" LMBO, instead saying "with the corner of my eyes".
I still laugh so hard when I remember.
He is just adorable Karlee!!!! Our DD use to call hot dogs, hit dogs and kraut, crap. I still remind her of those and she's in her early 30's! :)

Oh kids say the cutest things. I've kept a log of things my DD has said since she was little and I remembered to include the date and her age too. She always cracked us up with her version of words and phrases. For instance, instead of bikini, she said "bookini". Instead of monsoons, she said "monsusans". This will make a great addition to her scrapbook. Maybe you can do the same for your son. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

Kids have a great way of looking at things that turn out so funny at times...they do look like hot dogs. Was he disappointed they were not what he thought?

OMG! He is so adorable, I just want to squish his little cheeks! My daughters are grown and I have adorable grandchildren but I still remember my oldest refering to her sandals as her camels!
