Here is a quick video for you! I am off to Las Vegas early in the morning but I have some great things planned while I am gone. So make sure to check back!
** The fabric used is a poly-satin**
*** The fabri-tac is flammable so if you do use the second method on this video be careful or use a hot glue gun****

Loved the video Karlee! Have to try some like that. But, please be careful, LOL! Fabri-tac is highly flammable....you are a risk taker--think I'll stick with hot glue!!
I am LOVING these hair accessories! Super cute!
Very cute, Karlee!!! For another variation, assemble your circles and pierce a brad through the center. Now heat the entire flower with your heat gun. I did a video on this technique. What you come up with looks like a real dried rose, very vintage looking and so pretty!!! Try it!! You'll like it!!
Hugs!
Hey, Karlee,
Here's a link to my satin rose videos, if you are interested!

Great video Karlee...a candle might work just the same as the lighter...I have used a candle to singe edging for winter coats I made. Just keep the kids away so they are not tempted to try it.

Thank you for this!! I just love it and went out and got all of the supplies. I've made, black, red, white and black/white flowers. I let my daughter pick her faves and then took the others to work where us ladies are wearing them proudly today! The men in the office are joking with us and calling us the "flower girls"! Thank you!

That was so cool...Thank you for sharing. I think I will be making these to put in my girls Christmas stockings.
Thanks so so so much for this video. I just bought taffeta for my cousins wedding hair flower pins that Im making and I was clueless as to how to pull off the looks she wanted. I thought about using a lighter for the edges but I also didnt want to burn my house down haha
