I have been busy working on these for my S-I-L's wedding this weekend. They were just going to put up her engagement pictures on a lattice. They are having a garden reception. I couldn't allow just plain pictures to be put up so I offered to jazz them up a little bit. I matted them with 2 of her colors and then added the gold behind the picture with a thick indoor/outdoor ribbon that goes all the way around the back. We will hang them on the lattice with ribbon.

I'm with you, no plain jane pics hanging. These look great and the ribbon all the way around is a great way to hang them and not take anything away from how beautifully you mounted the pics!
