Good Weekend?!
We are back home with Internet!!! Yeah!!! My husband is from a small town and so IF you have internet at your house it is slow!!! His parents don't have internet at there house and we were so busy we didn't have a chance to head to his dad's work and hop on:) The good thing about small towns and holidays is that they do some pretty fun things and you get to be involved a lot! Some highlights from out weekend were that we got to play in a midnight madness softball tournament. It starts at 5:30pm and goes until about 7:30am. It is crazy but a whole lot of fun!! The parade starts at 10 and it is so fun for the little kids. They can get up close and get a LOT of candy and even get sprayed with water every once in a while. Then comes the carnival with lots of fun things to do, they also have a dive for dollars at the local pool. There is plenty of activities to keep you entertained until the fireworks, which are great! You are so close and they have a ton! We also had some time to head up on the mountain for some dutchoven cooking! My little man was sick while we were there but we were still able to have a lot of fun. I will post some pictures later! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend and if you celebrate 4th of July I hope yours was great!

How fun!!!! I moved to a small town like that a little less than a year ago (small farming town in Idaho). LOVE IT!!!! I'm sorry your little man was sick. I'm glad you had fun!

I just love the 4th of July in my town of Niceville, FL. And yes it is Nice. Our church has a good ole BBQ on the church grounds with lots of ole fashioned games for the kids, gospel singing and of course the fireworks. Am so glad you got to go be with family over the holiday. Moments with grandparents are priceless!
