Day two

We had soo much fun last night!!! I will post some pictures later today hopefully! Our internet is kind of slow and we only have on port to share so we decide to have most things post on Robyn's blog especially the videos because she is faster at editing and because she can put longer videos on her youtube!!!

CHA Day 1

Airport

I have had such a busy weekend! I am so sad that I didn't get to post anything all weekend!!! I am sitting at the airport waiting to board my plane!! I am SOOOOOO excited!!!! Check back this week for updates on Robyn and I at CHA!! We have some fun things planned!!!

Chipboard Album & Bind it all Basics

I have to work tonight and tomorrow night so I have been trying to get this done before I go to work so that you all will have something to see. Just in case I can't squeeze any crafting in before the weekend. Hopefully I will get to make something else before CHA next week but I have lots to get done before then too! I am sooo excited to get to go to CHA and meet some of you!!! Can't wait! Hope you enjoy the video!

3D Robot

 I played with my new Robotz Cart today and made one of the 3D robots! It was fun to figure it out!

Graduation Announcement & Birthday Notebooks Repost

I have to work at my husbands office all day today so I won't have any time to craft today :( So I thought I would post some projects that I had on my other blog! And I have been texting with Robyn, she got to Alaska safe incase you were wondering. The funeral is this evening so please keep their family in your thoughts and prayers!

I have a couple of friends that are having birthday's soon and we went to dinner tonight to celebrate!! I love girls night!! Anyway. I made these little notebooks to go with their gifts. (My bind it all was feeling neglected.)

And while I was at it I made matching cards.

My husband is graduating soon and wanted to send out some announcements. He asked me if I would make him some. Wow really? Twist my arm. Like I need another reason to craft. I really liked how they turned out. My husband loved them. He said they looked really official. Yeah!! I am so glad that he liked them.

New Nurse Stamp

I found this Nurse Stamp while I was in Oklahoma visiting Robyn and I had to get it! I am a nurse and I love it! Here are some cards I made while I was playing with my new stamp!

I used Razzberry Fizz cardstock and ribbon, and Sweet Blush cardstock all from Papertrey Ink.

The stamps I used were all from Best Medicine stamp set by Pure Innocence for My Favorite Things

Impromptu Adventure

Yesterday we went on an last minute "adventure"! My husband woke up yesterday morning and thought that we should take the kids to the zoo, the water-park or the aquarium. Now these all happen to be 3 hours away! We decided it would be fun for them and so we set off. We ended up going to the Aquarium and a Botanical Garden and the kids had a lot of fun. While in the "big" city I made a stop and picked up some goodies for myself. Micheals had cartridges on sale!!!! Can't wait to play with them! 

We had a really nice family day, I hope you have all had a great weekend so far!!!

Wedding Centerpieces

My cute little sister in law is getting married next month and I have been helping out with different things here and there.  She had seen a picture of something similar to this centerpiece and wondered if/how we could do it so I said I would work on it. This is what I came up with that went with her colors. We both love it but think that it is a little more than we wanted to pay for centerpieces. Now off to do Bridal shower invitations!

* The vase has colored glass gems in the bottom, a silk rose and what looks like water is called Craft Water and that is  where this project gets expensive!

My New Cricut Cake

I was very excited to finally get to play with my new cake machine!! I really don't know much about decorating cakes. I am the box cake mix and tub of frosting and call it good kind of girl! That is why I am so excited to have the cake, I finally might be able to do cute cakes!! I didn't push myself to far on my first attempts. I used plain frosting and icing sheets.

My picture isn't the best and I thought 

the letters would be okay by themselves. It is not my favorite but hey it's my first one!

I used Old West Cartridge and cut my letters at 2 inches.

Here is the 2nd cake I did.

My friend that I made the bracelets for last week had her baby on tuesday. So I took them a little treat.

I like how this one turned out much better. I layered my letters and they stood out much better on the chocolate frosting. I used the B is for Boy Cricut Lite Cartridge. I added the ribbon around the edge because it had the same colors I used on the letters.  My husband thought I was crazy for putting the ribbon on because it wasn't edible, he liked it after it was on!!

Create A Critter Cartridge

Nuts About You

It feels so good to not be sick and to actually make something! I was finishing up some very quick albums I did for my grandparents and I needed, okay wanted to send a card with them. Here is one that I made!

I used Create a Critter which I think is one of my most favorite carts! 

The stamp is Punny-licious by My Pink Stamper! 

The background paper is from DCWV- Nana's Nursery Baby Girl and the base of the card is Stampin UP Chocolate Chip cardstock.

 I rummaged my "scraps" bin for the rest.

Bracelets

One of my good friend is going to have a baby boy any day! She has 3 girls right now and I remember when I had my son some of my friends gave my daughter some presents so she didn't feel left out! I thought that I would make mom and the girls matching bracelets so they could have something special too!

I also made little boxes to put the bracelets in!

Happy Birthday to a wise old owl

My Grandfather turned 86 yesterday!! To my kids he is GGPOPS and I wish he lived closer so my kids could get to know him better.  He is a wonderful man, has a lot of life experience and gives great advice!! 

I used Create a Critter to cut my owl and My Pink Stamper Family and Friends stamp set.
