Here is a few ideas that I figured out for making flowers into hair accessories! I also just went to a class and learned how to make some other types of hair bows, so I will have to share what I learned there with you in another video!

I love making these ALTHOUGH I have not put them in my daughters hair yet cause she is so young and small. I bought the colorful flowers with stems at Hobby Lobby and they may be a little cheaper.. Just an FYI... Good Job... Love it. And I would LOVE to see the other bows you learned how to make only because I make hairbows so I want to see if it is the same kind.. :D

I've been making these for my daughters this summer. I like to use an extra large brad in the center - you can even find sparkly ones. The only place I use any glue is to attach the flower (with brad attached) to the hair clip. My girls do much better with the french clips than the alligator clips.

I'm wanting to try using my iTop fabric covered brads in the center - I just keep running out of time!

Thanks for the video.

Great idea w/the brad ... maybe glue a small piece of ribbon over the brad so it doesn't snag in the hair (something we fight all the time - hair snaggles!!

Precious . You should go to my photos on my FB in my sewing center and look at my hair bows , covered head bands and flower barrettes I made. I have made them for forty years for everyone and my two daughters and now my three granddaughters. Always loved and will always love sewing and crafting for my children and grandchildren. You did a great job and keep it up. Love to watch your videos.
