My Pink Stamper Winter Punnies Giveaway

It has been so crazy around my house between Christmas, family get togethers, traveling, sickness and trying to get all of the business year end stuff done that I have neglected my craft room:( I hope that I can get back in to the groove soon.
We have gotten snow the last two days and it looks like a Winter Wonderland outside my house! I love Winter!!! and I love hot chocolate!! So looking outside my window and drinking my hot chocolate reminded me of Robyn's Stamp set "Winter Punnies".... So I thought I would give a set away!!!!
Thanks Robyn for donating this stamp set!!!!

Homemade Ornaments

We had a family lunch on Friday where the majority of my husbands family was able to attend! We had a very good time and I got almost everyone to make an ornament! The boys got really creative with theirs and the little kids just had a blast!!!
I loved how easy they were to do!
Thanks Robyn for the video and idea!! To see Robyn's video click here.

Staff Goodies

My Husband had his office Christmas Dinner last night. I spent most of my time yesterday getting some "goodies" ready for all of his staff!
Here is what I made:
This little house is from the  Jolly Holidays Cricut Lite cartridge and I cut it at 5 1/2 inches

I embossed the roof with clear powder to give it some shine and then I used stickles for the rest of my sparkles!!!

I made a quick tag pocket from the Tags, Bags Boxes & more cartridge. I cut it at 8 inches.

The final product!

Quick Gift Tags

I was asked to help with some service this Christmas and so I have been busy doing that and I have loved every minute of it! It truly brings joy to my heart and my soul when I am able to help someone that needs it.  I decided that we needed tags on some of the things that we are doing.  So I am making these really quick tags. I cut the tag using my Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cart. I cut the 'bvltop' tag at 3 inches with the blackout feature on.  I used my own punch to punch holes for the ribbon.
Now I am off to finish the rest 49 more to go!!!
I need to thinking of something cute to put in the "From" spot too!

Storybook Project

I had a project for the youth that I work with. We wanted to give the girls journal that they could write their own "Fairytale"in. I used my Bind- it all and these great covers. I used brown paint and put it lightly on the front and back and then used a clear crackle paint by Tim Holtz and once dry I inked over the cover with walnut distress ink and let dry. For the spine of the cover I used a tarnished brass crackle paint also by Tim Holtz and let that dry. I then used the same in over that and let dry. After everything was dry I Mod Podged a layer and then added the letter on the front and did another layer of Mod Podge.

For the inside pages I used copy paper and cut it down to 8x9. I then punched and bound 100 sheets for each book with 3/4 inch O-wire.

The girls loved them and I loved them because they turned out how I had envisioned them. While I was making them my 5 y/o daughter told me "Mom, those books sure do look old"! Yeah that was the whole point and I was so excited that she noticed!! Hope you all enjoy!

If you haven't entered my drawing be sure to do so! I will be drawing on Friday (tomorrow)

A Gift Tag with Jolly Holidays Cricut Lite Cartridge

I had a crazy weekend this past weekend, but it was nice.  My Husband was out of town for the weekend and on Friday my daughter got strep throat :( All that she wanted to was cuddle and be by me. I had to give in and so we had a movie weekend! I felt like I got nothing done but it was so great to just hang out with the kids and cuddle!
I made this tag when I was at Robyn's house with my new Jolly Holidays Cricut Lite Cartridge.
I cut it at four inches.

Tooth Fairy

In the midst of all my craziness my daughter lost her first tooth! Then WE (meaning her little brother got a hold of it and we think it went in the toilet or the sink) lost it.  We were all so sad but that sneaky magic Tooth Fairy still brought my daughter something under her pillow. We were very excited in the morning when she found her treasure!

My Comedy of Errors

Hey Everyone! I am finally HOME!!  I feel so bad that I have not posted much the last two weeks:( I thought that I would share some of what my crazy last two weeks has been.  The Friday before Thanksgiving I made an 8 hour drive to attend a conference in Salt Lake City which started that evening and continued most of the day on Saturday. The conference was wonderful and inspiring!!! While doing some shopping after the conference it started to snow a lot. We were supposed to leave Sunday morning but decided to delay so that we could let the mountain pass  that we had to drive thru melt a bit and give the snow plows time to go thru. That proved to be a good decision and we made it thru with only some weather issues but we ended up getting caught in another storm about three and a half hours away from home.  We made it about one more hour and then had to stop.  Good thing we knew people in that town and had a place to stay! Then began the task of finding a babysitter to take my kids for Monday until we got home.  Three hours later I had a babysitter.  The rest of Monday and on Tuesday I was busy unpacking and repacking, getting my family packed and getting the accounting caught up for my Husbands office. Then early in the morning on Wednesday we were off to Robyn's House!!!!! A long day of driving and we were finally there! We had a wonderful time at Robyn's! The kids played, had a very nice Thanksgiving, got some mad shopping done (yeah Black friday!!!) 98% of my Christmas shopping got done and it all got wrapped!!! We were planing on leaving Sunday after church but then we had a little hitch in out plans. Early in the morning on Sunday my husband got up from bed to help our daughter to the bathroom while there he passed out into the tub.  I will spare all of the details but Robyn's husband ended up taking him to the ER for me. Turns out he was having a full body reaction to a medication he was taking and it cause him to swell up, have a rash and pass out. He got some IV fluids and meds at the hospital  and then they sent him home. We all thought that it would be best for us not to head home that day and to let my husband rest and let the meds  kick in.  We drove home yesterday and had only about 10 miles of a snow storm that we would have been fully in on Sunday night and it would have been really icy. So our medical detour is a blessing in a way! My husband is feeling much better today! I am working on a project for church today and getting Laundry :(done but I have a few pictures that I will post for you a little later. (probably tomorrow)
